Our trails traverse 1,500 acres of diverse and dramatic terrain, among historic quarries, New England villages, and regenerating forests.
Moosalamoo National Recreation Area Montpelier Area Mountain Bike Association (MAMBA) organized to advocate for responsible trail use, perform trail maintenance, and secure additional riding areas in the Montpelier, Vermont area. Sport Trails of the Ascutney Basin - The purpose of STAB is to advocate for continued accessibility of low-impact, local trails used for multiple non-motorized sports in the Vermont towns of West Windsor, Hartland, Reading, Weathersfield and Windsor. Stowe Mountain Bike Club SMBC was formed to maintain and expand mountain biking opportunities in the Lamoille and Washington County area. We are a volunteer organization and look for support from riders to help with trail work, advocacy and to be good stewards of the land. Sugarbush Ski Resort - Sugarbush Resort in Warren, VT has re-opened and added to its trails. The Fellowship of the Wheel The Fellowship maintains a series of mountain biking trails in Chittenden County ( Burlington Area). Trapp Family Lodge 1-mile loop of beginner single-track trail, 2.5 miles of intermediate single-track trails and 10 miles of double-track beginner to intermediate trails. Vermont Mountain Bike Advocates is a non-profit organization that promotes trail advocacy through volunteer participation in planning, funding, establishing and maintaining trails throughout Vermont. VMBA educates mountain bikers to be responsible, environmentally sensible trail users.
Bike Touring Biking Routes in the Northeast Kingdom This beautiful guide to cycling in the Northeast Kingdom has maps, routes, tips, and more! Burlington Bikepath -Activities: Walking, Biking, Cross Country Skiing, In-line Skating, Fishing, Wheelchair Accessible Length: 7.6 miles from Oakledge Park in Burlington to the Winooski River Trail Bridge. The Burlington Bikepath is a section of the 14-mile Island Line Trail. A bridge at the Northern end of the path connects to Colchester and the portion of the Island Line Trail that is a Causeway across Lake. The seasonal Island Line Bike Ferry carries cyclists and pedestrians across a gap in the Causeway to the Island of South Hero. For the ferry schedule, click Local Motion. Island Line Rail-Trail Hop on the spectacular 14-mile rail trail along Lake Champlain. The Island Line cruises through Burlington’s waterfront, crosses a river delta on the Winooski River Trail Bridge, and scoots out on the Colchester Causeway three miles into the middle of the lake! The seasonal Island Line Bike Ferry carries cyclists and pedestrians across a gap in the Causeway to the Island of South Hero. Public beaches, natural areas, and scenic vistas abound. Lake Champlain Bikeways Bicyclists are quickly discovering some of the finest bicycling in North America along a 1,100- mile network of bicycle routes, known as Lake Champlain Bikeways, in the Lake Champlain Valley of Vermont, New York, and Québec.
